Applications are invited for recruitment of Sub—Inspector (Works) for engineering set up.Total posts are 568.Eligible Male or Female candidates of various category can apply for these posts.10% vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen.
The detail of posts are as under-
Sub-Inspector (Works)(Group-B Combatised)-58 Posts
For UR-36 Posts,for OBC-13 Posts,For Schedule Caste-11 posts and for Schedule Tribe-08 Posts.
Pay Scale-Pay band-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay 4200/-
Educational qualification-Having three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognized institution or university.
Age-Not more than 30 years. Age relaxation as per govt.rules.

Physical Standards Test-For Male candidates-Height-165 cms,Chest 76-81 cms (relaxation by 02 cms for candidates below 20 years of age.),Weight-Proportional to height and age as per medical standard.
For Female candidates- Height-157 cms,Chest Not applicable,Weight-Proportional to height but not less than 46 Kgs.
Selection procedure-Written Test +Physical Test +Practical Test + Interview.
Application Fee-
Application fee is 50/- .No application fee for Schedule Caste,Schedule Tribe,BSF candidates,ESM and all women candidates.
