I. Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) are proposed to be engaged by the Directorate of Education. GNCT of Delhi under the scheme of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA). Subject wise tentative vacancies in each dismct are enclosed herewith. The vacancies are subject to variation.
These teachers are proposed to be engaged purely on contract basis till 31.03.2016. J The Consofidarcd salary @ of Rs. 28800/- per month will be paid to these teachers. No extra allowance will be admissible. 4. Candidates with Graduation in the specific subject with 13.Ed. can apply. o. As per Deihl Gazelle Notification dated 07.10.2011. only those who are qualified in Elementary Stage in the Central TC:IChc,' Eligibifiry Test conducted by eBSE will be CONTRACT BASISconsidered lor appointment of teachers for class VI-VIII in the schools of Delhi 6. Qualification As per Col. No.OS of the Recruitment Rules, the Essential and other qualification required for direct recruits lor TGT arc as follows: - .. A Bachelor's Degree (Honours/Puss) or equivalent from a recognized University having secured 45u/,) marks ill aggregate, in two school subjects of which at least one out of the following should have been at the elective level: - (i)- English, (ii) - Mathematics, (iii)- Natural/Physical Science, (IV)- Social Science NOll': Main Subject for TGT (Natural Science/Physical Science) shall be PhYSICS. Chcnustrv. Biology. Botany and Zoology.Social Science: - History/Political Science/ Sociology/Geography/Psychology
* Should have qualified CTET from CBSE.
Provided Further Ibm the requirement as to minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate In
graduation level shall be relaxab!c in case or:
a. Candidates who passes a Post Graduate Qualification in <my of the teaching
subject listed above.
b. Belonging to SC/ST
c. Physically handicapped candidates
([I) Degree/Diploma in Training Education or SA V certificate.
(I [I) Working knowledge of Hindi.
(i) I3.A (Honours) III one or the Modern Indian Languages (MIL) concerned or 13A with
MIL concerned as one of the Elective subjects from a recognized University having
45 % marks in aggregate with one additional language or one school subject at
Degree Level.
OR
Equivalent Oriental Degree in MIL concerned from a recognized University having
45% marks in aggregate
OR
(For appointment as Hindi Teachers only) Sahitya Rattan of Hindi Sahitya
Sanuuelan Prayag having secured at least 45% marks III aggregate with English in
Matriculation provided further that the requirement as 10 the minimum 45% marks in
the aggregate shall be relaxable in the case of (a) candidate who possess a Post
Graduate Qualification in MIL concerned from a recognized University (b)
candidates belonging 10 SC/ST (c) Physically handicapped candidates.
11. Degree/Diploma In leaching

Senior Anglo Vernacular Certi ficate
III Knowledge of Hindi is essential
(Amended Rules for Urdu]: Candidates who possess qualification equivalent to
secondary (I Olh). 51". Secondary (12'\ or equivalent from recognized/approved
Madarsas and for admitting to B.A. degree and after that higher courses like B.Ed
from a recognized institution by the UGC are also eligible to apply
Nutl'-I "The candidate should have studied the subject concerned as mentioned in the
RRs in all purrs/years of graduation. The elective word muy also include main
subject as practiced in different Universities".
NOll'-2 Candidates, who have studied a given subject in only two years of Graduation
with three papers each having 100 marks but studied the same subject at the
PO.'l1 Crnduation level too shall be considered eligible to apply for the post of
