Online Recruitment 2017:
Indian Postal Department has released a recruitment notification for filling up 1771 vacant posts of Gramin
Dak Sevaks (GDS). Eligible candidates can apply online from 18.03.2017 to 19.04.2017. Other details
like age limit, fees, educational qualification, selection process & how to apply are

Qualification: Matriculation (10th) Passed.
Age Limit:
- For General: Born not earlier than 20.04.1977 and not later than
19.04.1999 (both date inclusive).
- For OBC: Born not earlier than 20.04.1974 and not later than
19.04.1999 (both date inclusive).
- For SC/ ST: Born not earlier than 20.04.1972 and not later than
19.04.1999 (both date inclusive).
Fees: Rs.100/-. There is no application fee for SC/ ST/ Female candidates.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in academic records.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online from 18.03.2017 to 19.04.2017 using link given below. The applicant need not send any documents such as print out of online application.
